Circumferential Shortening
The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.

At the tectonic breakup of Pangaea the Earth lost 1,282 Km of radius and 8,055 Km of circumference.
On September 9th we saw that seismic waves give us a way to investigate the internal structure of the Earth, and that they confirm the presence of the great gulf between the mantle and the core which Jesus spoke of in Luke 16:26.
On September 10th we considered the possibility that geological features such as Monument Valley, Utah, and Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, are remnants of the pillars of the Earth. We also gave an approximation of the radius of the Earth on the 3rd day and the thickness of the mantle.
