A lot of people think that the LGBTQIA+ issue is about making a moral judgement. The thing is, we’re not asked to make a moral judgement, we’re told to obey the law for the Lord’s sake.
You don’t prove what a great man of God you are by hating on gays and lesbians. God knew that this day was coming and he gave us the instructions on how to deal with it. What if you’re legislature mandates that churches have to carry out same-sex weddings in order to stay open? According to Peter, we carry out same-sex wedding and stay open. It’s not rocket science.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
(Matthew 10:16) NKJV
Do you, Pastor, want to go to prison and have your flock ravished by wolves? That’s not being as wise as a serpent. You have to be crafty like a snake in order to survive.
