But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’
(Luke 16:25-26) NKJV
A problem in creationism is: what caused the breakup of Pangaea and the formation of tectonic plates? Was it the waters of Noah’s flood or an extra-terrestrial impact? We say neither.
They’re both wrong. Both scenarios require us to conflate two historic events.
- Noah’s flood with Peleg’s tectonics,
- Peleg’s tectonics with Amos’ meteorite.
Noah’s flood with Peleg’s tectonics
To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
(Genesis 10:25) NKJV
We can’t conflate Noah’s flood and Peleg’s tectonics because there needs to be a period of time between Noah’s flood and the breakup of Pangaea. This period is about 100 years during which the story of Babel occurs and humans and animals spread out over the surface of the Earth before the continents are separated from each other. This is how we can account for both observed evolution (devolution) and the distribution of biodiversity.
Devolution is the process of genetic change over time by which the animal kinds saved on Noah’s ark gave rise to the distribution of current biodiversity.
– Devolution, context
We have a much better solution, but it requires a completely new theory of gravitation. Fortunately we have one. We debunked the foundation of theoretical physics in order to show that it’s possible for there to be a great gulf of open space inside the Earth, you know, like the one that Jesus described. We show how to do this in the post cutting the link between space-time and gravity. We find that calculating the mass and density of the Earth requires circular reasoning and an assumption based on circumstantial evidence.
Peleg’s tectonics with Amos’ meteorite
The words of Amos, who was among the sheepbreeders of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
(Amos 1:1) NKJV
We don’t need to conflate Peleg’s tectonics with Amos’ asteroid because we have a model where the expansion of hell melts the foundations of the Earth, which causes the pillars of the Earth to collapse and the mantle with it.
- It refutes the popular science (SciPop) theory of gravitation which is based on the concept of gravity from Newton and Einstein.
- It accounts for the geological concepts of radial shrinkage and circumferential shortening.
- It includes all of the physical structures mentioned in the Bible as part of the internal structure of the Earth.
- It’s a natural process and doesn’t require any miracles.
