The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, And the earth heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.
(Nahum 1:5) NKJV
“Uplift in Appalachian geosyncline” took place when the tectonic plates formed in the time of Peleg. This was 101 years after Noah’s flood. The popular science narrative (SciPop) has millions of years to fill up and so it pads out the narrative by using geographic locations as separate events in time.
The Time Span from Noah’s Flood to Peleg (Genesis 11:10-26)
- Arphaxad was born 2 years after the flood,
- He was 35 at the birth of Selah,
- Selah was 30 at the birth of Eber,
- Eber was 34 at the birth of Peleg,
- 2 + 35 + 30 + 34 = 101 Years
The Appalachian mountains are the same Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian and Devonian rocks that have already been accounted for. What Wilson N. Stewart and others are doing is massaging all of the sources of evidence to fit the timescale puzzle of the extensively warped narrative of biological evolution.
Separating Noah’s flood and Peleg’s tectonics gives us a way to allow the spread of human races and terrestrial animals around the world before the continents were separated. This is a stumbling block in Creationism because they’ve conflated Noah’s flood and Peleg’s tectonics. Their rationale is to provide a source of catastrophic power (the flood) which would cause the breakup of Pangaea and the formation of tectonic plates.

They don’t have hell at the center of the Earth because they’re trying to hammer the Bible into the SciPop paradigm. The expansion of hell solves both the problems of Noah’s flood and Peleg’s tectonics.

August 12th – Permian
The Appalachian mountains formed after the sediments they’re made of were deposited, that’s simple logic and an acknowledgment of cause and effect.
