August 15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
(1 Timothy 1:15) KJV
We’re celebrating our anniversary: 32 years ago today we arrived in the USA. We were 19, lost, and filled with zeal for the theory of evolution which we thought was the antidote to God.
We were a pharisee of the pharisees and liked nothing more than to mock Christians and belittle them for being ignorant and stupid.

From August 15, 1988, when we arrived in Chicago, to July 1997, when we got saved, we were in a state of intellectual implosion. When you think that you’ve disproved God, but then God is the only possible explanation for the experiences that you’re having, you have two options: darkness or light. Jesus Christ is the light. Thank God that he gave me the ability to choose Jesus Christ. That’s an example of mercy.
Look how far we’ve come. By God’s grace we got our mind back and have been able to deduce how God can account for all of the wonders of the natural world that popular science (SciPop) wants you to think are beyond the capability of any god.
