Predator and Prey

So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.

(Genesis 9:1-3) NKJV

After Noah’s flood a carnivorous diet was on the menu, so predator-prey relationships developed which, no doubt, spurred the animals to spread out very quickly.

Chinese History

And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

Scattered Abroad

Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. (Genesis 11:7-9) NKJV

You would think that something as significant as the birth of all human culture taking place after the dispersal from Noah’s ark would be noticed. Sure enough, that’s what the record of history tells us happened.

A Universal Language

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.

(Genesis 11:5-6) NKJV

People think that math is real. That’s because its use in engineering and medicine produces a beneficial result. There’s another side to math which is theoretical. Theoretical means imaginary.

Devolution not Evolution

This is what he says in all his letters when he writes on the subject. There are some difficult things in his letters which ignorant and unstable people explain falsely, as they do with other passages of the Scriptures. So they bring on their own destruction.

(2 Peter 3:16) Good News Translation

Evolution is Biblical. We’ll lay out some logic for evangelical Christians so that they can avoid having heart attacks because we’re telling you that evolution is Biblical.

How Much Variability is in a Kind?

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.

(Genesis 1:24) NKJV

We can combine Noah’s flood, Peleg’s tectonics and knowledge of the process of devolution to help us clear up what level of variability is represented by the Biblical word KIND.
