Everlasting Light

The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

We’re told that the new heaven and new Earth, where we’ll live for eternity, is a place of perpetual light. We’re making the case that the permanent physical separation of light from darkness is the purpose of creation.

Theory is the Scientific Word for Faith

It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God’s word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.
(Hebrews 11:3) Good News Translation

The words faith and theory are synonyms. Sight and empirical are also synonyms. Empirical evidence is what we see. What we choose to believe about it is our faith.

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) resolved the Holy Trinity with particle physics and we can now calculate the mass of the observable universe as a portion of the total mass of the universe.

Propitiation

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Propitiation is the price paid for our redemption. This was Jesus himself. He lived a sinless life and his sacrifice was sufficient to pay for the sins of the whole world.

Redemption

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

We’ve resolved a theory of gravitation with the plan of redemption. It’s part of a unified theory of everything. Redemption is a gift of God’s grace, it’s freely available to all who call upon the name of Jesus Christ.

Our favorite illustration of how popular science (SciPop) requires faith is Kepler’s 1st Law of Planetary Motion. The law states that planetary orbits are elliptical and that the sun is at one focus of the ellipse.
