God Encompasses Physics

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. When confronted with an accusation on Twitter our impulse (that’s me and the Holy Spirit, except, usually grieving the Holy Spirit) is to be snarky about the poster’s cognitive dissonance (a way to call them stupid).

Secular Humanism vs. God

Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription:

TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.

Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.

It’s one thing to talk about God with Christians, they know God from the Bible. It’s something else to talk with people who don’t go to church and whose knowledge of God comes from atheist propaganda.
