Our favorite illustration of how popular science (SciPop) requires faith is Kepler’s 1st Law of Planetary Motion. The law states that planetary orbits are elliptical and that the sun is at one focus of the ellipse.

Why are planetary orbits elliptical? Supposedly Sir Isaac Newton solved this problem mathematically in his Principia Mathematica (1687).

Kepler didn’t Understand Kepler’s 1st Law

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Either Kepler didn’t understand his own laws, or he lied about them. Ellipses have two foci except, it seems, in the popular science SciPop heliocentric model (SciPop), in which elliptical planetary orbits have one.
