The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. All Manner of Precious Stones

And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.

Meaning comes from context. For example the phrase “were garnished” in Revelation 21:19. One meaning could be: the wall of the city had foundations, and the foundations had been decorated with precious stones.
