If we find insects with wings in the buried remains of a Mississippi swamp, does it mean that insects evolved wings in the swamp? No, it means that insects with wings were buried in a swamp.

If we examine the evidence we can’t avoid the obvious conclusion that Mississippian sediments are the remains of an ecosystem which was buried in a flood.

This is narrative that’s designed to establish the evolution premise that the Angiosperms are the most developmentally advanced kinds of plants, and so therefore have the most recent origin.

Rise of Higher Insects and Birds

Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying, ‘Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’

(Isaiah 14:8) NKJV

Rise of higher insects and birds” is an example of Paleodoublespeak. Jurassic sediment contains the preserved remains of dead insects and birds. That’s not evidence of their rise. It’s evidence of their extinction.

Bats are Birds?

People have found many ingenious reasons to reject the truth of the Bible. There are also some which aren’t ingenious, not by a long shot.
