A Space Between – בֵּ֥ין

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
( Genesis 1:4 )

In pondering the physics of creation we have come to understand that the earth is part of the ongoing process of the permanent physical separation of light from darkness. The process is not complete. Yet.

Cutting the Link Between Matter and Gravity

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
( Luke 16:19-31 )

Calculating the mass of earth takes circular reasoning and an assumption based on circumstantial evidence. It falls apart when you try to prove that there is no open space inside the earth.

David and Goliath

And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.

( 1 Samuel 17:48-49 )

Gravity is a field emitted from a created instance (singularity) that causes a body to have attractive force directly proportional to its mass, and inversely proportional to the square of its distance from the source.

Gravity – טָבַע

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
( Job 38:1-6 )

The deep was teeming with life, but the light was now obscured. Darkness returned. It was now necessary for God to bring about a permanent physical separation of light from dark. God created gravity.

A Compass on the Face of the Depth

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

( Proverbs 8:27 )

We think of earth as down and the sky as up. Heaven above and hell below. Whatever happened on the 2nd day has to allow for the eventual formation of heaven and hell. These are not spiritual concepts.

Raqia – רָקִ֖יעַ

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

( Revelation 15:2 )

Accepting the firmament as a sphere of rigid crystal on the edge of space solves many scriptural and physics problems. The King James is the only Bible from which an accurate cosmological model may be deduced.

Earnest Expectation

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. ( Romans 8:18-25 )

The discipline it took to get through this month deepened my understanding. My earnest expectation is that if I apply the same discipline to writing in February as I did in January then my understanding will deepen more.

Establish The Work Of Our Hands

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. ( Psalm 90:12, 17 )

If we commit to fulfill God’s minimum expectations, and He promised to meet our needs, then whatever work meets our needs and allows us to fulfill his expectations is the work he established for our hands.
