and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,
therefore, behold, I will again
do wonderful things with this people,
with wonder upon wonder;
and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,
and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.”
The popular science paradigm (SciPop) is dead. You can argue and fuss all you like but it’s too late. We’ve shown you that the theoretical construct upon which SciPop rests is constructed with faith.
Not only that, but gravitational time dilation means that the Biblical narrative of a 6,000 year old earth is true, but the remote regions of the cosmos may be 13.8 billion years old at the same time. So now what?
Are you going to insist on believing a false paradigm anyway? Everyone else believe it, right? A lone janitor couldn’t possibly have taken out SciPop with the millions of scientists who all believe, to a great extent, the same thing. Or could he?
It’s a tough one, that’s for sure. The next challenge is to be honest with yourself: are you really seeking the truth? Do you crave knowledge and understanding of life? Or are you trying to feel good about the life you lead which, let’s face it, isn’t honoring the Lord. Perhaps you’re a troll who is thinks it’s fun to attack anything that doesn’t align with your world view.
Is there a safe middle ground? OK, so maybe Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Einstein really were on some kick, and let their egos get ahead of their good sense as they led the headlong rush into godless spiritual darkness. But so what? You’re not bothering anybody, live and let live and everything’s going to be OK, right?
Not really. Remember, Galileo and his merry band of intellectual thieves were determined to construct a paradigm that makes it impossible for Biblical prophecy to come true. If the Earth is an insignificant little speck in a universe teeming with bodies that have much higher masses, then why would the stars fall to the Earth as the Bible says? But if the super-masses of the heavenly bodies are derived from mathematical circular reasoning, along with the imaginary geometry of a false cosmology, then they certainly will fall to the Earth.
Hell
For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
(Deuteronomy 32:22) KJV
What about hell? Supposedly, if the decay of radioisotopes was initially very fast it would have melted the Earth. This is the main argument that I have seen against the idea. Well, Deuteronomy 32:22 tells us that that’s exactly what did happen, except the core melted, not the surface, because that’s where the heavy atomic weight elements were concentrated. Hell is continuing to enlarge. Hell will expand and consume the Earth. Global warming anyone? Now we’re getting scary.
Can you really afford to ignore this? If there’s even a remote chance that SciPop is a mistake, then a lot of scary things are suddenly very real. That’s the point you know: SciPop has been designed to lull you to spiritual sleep so that you can waste your life being distracted by your cool tech, then wake up in shock and horror in hell.
It’s not a global conspiracy though. I don’t believe that a secret sect of elite scientists (well, maybe the Nobel committee), or even scientists in general, are plotting this evil deception. This is a masterpiece of subtlety by our adversary, the Devil. Yes, that’s true too.
So what do you do?
Salvation
For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it.
(Ephesians 2:8-9) Good News Translation
The first step in being saved through faith in Jesus Christ is to realize that you NEED to be saved. We are all sinners and have come under the judgement of God. If you are unwilling to ask God for forgiveness, you can’t be forgiven.
If you’re unwilling to acknowledge the danger to your soul, then you can’t do what you need to do to save your soul.
The first step on the path to wisdom is to accept that God is who He claims to be. There’s no escape from the coming destruction. The Earth as we know it will disappear like smoke. The only way to be saved and live forever is through faith in Jesus Christ.
