Be Merciful

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

(Matthew 5:7) KJV

Social Media and the Great Commission: Part 8

  • Some folk just aren’t up to speed. Go easy on them.

So here’s the dilemma: if we hold true to the Biblical teaching that we’re promoting, we should unfollow all of the people AT OUR OWN CHURCH! Either we don’t get it, or they don’t get it.

Here’s the thing: the battle isn’t between the members of a church. The battle is between good and evil, light and dark. If you keep your eye on the prize: the glory which awaits us in heaven; and if you keep your mind on the Lord: the peace that passes all understanding, then you can cut them some slack. They don’t get it, but you do. So do what you do.

The thing is, scripture doesn’t say, people can follow you but you don’t have to follow them. It says, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them. Therefore: Follow everyone who follows you. If someone likes one of your pictures, like some of theirs. If someone sends you a DM, send them a gospel message or a Bible verse.

We need your financial help but Mattymatica isn’t a religious organization, charity or new age cult.
