Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
(John 20:29) KJV
Having proof of God would serve no purpose and, in fact, it would be counter-productive. If you want to choose God and escape the destruction that’s coming, then this is what you need to know: faith is needed, not sight.
The gospel has been built in a very robust way. There’s no examination. There’s no fee. There’s no list of tasks that you have to complete like Hercules. It’s adaptable to any circumstance that you may find yourself in: you could be in the finest research library in the world or marooned on a desert island. All you have to do is accept your sinful condition and believe that Jesus will forgive you, and that he can give you everlasting life.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
(Galatians 2:16) KJV
The essence of the gospel is contained in one verse, probably the most well known sentence in history.
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
(John 3:16) Good News Translation
Salvation
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,

July 25th – Matty’s Razor
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
