Elevation of Rocky Mountains

The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, And the earth heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.

(Nahum 1:5) NKJV

The elevation of the Rocky Mountains was during Peleg’s tectonics, 101 years after Noah’s flood. It occurs in the narrative of evolution as a way to stretch out the timescale into millions of years.

The Time Span from Noah’s Flood to Peleg (Genesis 11:10-26)

  • Arphaxad was born 2 years after the flood,
  • He was 35 at the birth of Selah,
  • Selah was 30 at the birth of Eber,
  • Eber was 34 at the birth of Peleg,
  • 2 + 35 + 30 + 34 = 101 Years

The sediments were deposited first, then the mountain system was uplifted. It’s compatible with the Biblical narrative and we have a direct reference to it in Genesis 10:25.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

(Genesis 10:25) NKJV

The flood was first and then the tectonic breakup of Pangaea. This is a major catastrophe of world-wide significance, but it gives us a way to account for the current distribution of biodiversity.

August 17th – Cretaceous

The only way to account for the sedimentary deposits and fossils of the Cretaceous is by a world-wide flood. It’s so obvious that scientific jargon can’t hide it.
