The Stones Would Immediately Cry Out

The stones would immediately cry out

August 29

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

(Luke 19:39-40) KJV

It’s so obvious that there’s been a world-wide flood that it’s as if the very stones are crying out, giving testimony of the glorious majesty of our God.

Toward a Grand Synthesis

Noah's ark rides upon the floods

August 28

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

(Genesis 7:11-12) KJV

Noah’s flood was not only a world-wide catastrophe, it was also a process which involved several stages. It gives us a way to account for the stratigraphic column, Cambrian through Quaternary.

Equatorial Glaciation?

August 13

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

(Genesis 8:1) NKJV

After Noah’s flood a wind caused the water to evaporate. The cooling effect caused the formation of equatorial and polar ice. Temperate zones were in the mid-latitudes of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Insects Evolved Wings

Praise the Lord from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths; Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and maidens; Old men and children.

(Psalms 148:7-12) NKJV

If we find insects with wings in the buried remains of a Mississippi swamp, does it mean that insects evolved wings in the swamp? No, it means that insects with wings were buried in a swamp.

Sharks and Bony Fish

So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

(Genesis 1:21-22) NKJV

Sedimentary deposits containing sharks and bony fish can be assigned to the Mississippian because of how the evolution narrative, of development from primitive to advanced, overlays with the geological timescale.

The Old Red Sandstone

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

(Exodus 9:23-25) KJV

Worlds in Collision

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

(Matthew 13:52) KJV

Worlds in Collision” is the title of a book by Immanuel Velikovsky in which he proposes, among other things, that the plagues of the Exodus were caused by successive close approaches to Earth by the planet Venus.
