If the World Hates You

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

(John 15:18-19) NKJV

Today (technically speaking this date in 2019) an atheist tweeted three Bible verses at us as an accusation. The accusation was that we’re not only wrong, but condemned to hell because of what we’re doing. The irony is palpable.

They Have No Understanding

Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.

(Psalms 32:9) NKJV

Lately there really hasn’t been much interest in our challenge to prove heliocentricity. We’ve dealt with every issue which was raised and neutralized it. Anyone who wanted to challenge us already has, and lost.

Atheism’s Accomplice

(Matthew 23:13) NKJV

Atheism’s actuality: in order to make the argument that God lies in the Bible, facultative authority has to be imputed to the Bible, and the accuser has become a hypocrite.

Atheism’s Argument

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

(Titus 3:9) KJV

Atheism’s argument: the Bible is full of contradictions. This isn’t a logical fallacy, it’s propaganda. When pressed to provide the supposed contradictions it’s found that they can all be resolved.

Atheism’s Accusation

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

(Zechariah 3:1) NASB

Atheism’s accusation: God lies. It’s ironic, and the first logical fallacy. The only way for God to lie is if the Bible is authoritative. The atheist point of view is that the Bible is fiction, a lie, so how can there be contradictions?
