Einstein’s Curved Space

O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” for by professing it some have swerved from the faith. Grace be with you.

(1 Timothy 6:20-21) English Standard Version

A Letter to Myself

Hi Matthew,

just a note to say the way forward is now completely clear. The experience of Ethiopia, preaching at Beza International Church and conversation with Rob (the Donkey’s jawbone) are just a small part of the total confirmation you need to be able to move on.

Finish Biblio’s Blood. This is the first step in making the future that you are hoping for.

Plan to return to Ethiopia, and also plan to be involved in missions to whatever extent you are needed or useful.

Give your full commitment to the body of Christ at HillSide.

God bless and have fun.

Written at Monkey Gorge among the daisys.

Director of Custodial Services – Han Solo

Patton’s second in command is the Director of Custodial Services, none other than the swashbuckling space pirate, Captain Han Solo.

Han hasn’t got any custodial experience but he has dodged every trap and escaped from every tight spot that the enemy has ever tried. He is mostly concerned with keeping the desperate band of rebels on day shift together, and he is usually busy avoiding asteroids and evading Imperial Star Destroyers.
