“Uniformly warm, humid climates” is letting us know that there has to have been significant evaporation from the oceans to put all the water in the atmosphere that was going to be necessary to flood the world.

We went off on a bit of a tangent today as we drew a comparison between popular science (SciPop) and science fiction (SciFi). It was apt. That being said we’re huge SciFi fans and we spent may years writing trash in the hope that one day we would have a novel on the New York Times bestsellers list.

Most of the sedimentary deposits assigned to the Mississippian are coal beds in the Mississippi valley. The coal is the remains of swamp habitat that was buried in a world-wide flood.
