Every Imagination

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

(Genesis 6:5) KJV

A new month, a new epoch or major event to discuss. We don’t really have much description about life on earth after the fall of man and up to the flood. The great flood of Noah is by far the most significant event in earth’s history. It begins the era that we are going to call Pangaea.

The Grandad Letters

I have not written this section yet…

But it includes the origin of the job titles “Britain’s leading authority on Botanical Malfactions in Galaxial and Intergalactic Communications,” “Othodox Galactic Taxi Driver,” and Ferdie the Bionic Seagull.

A Tender Shoot

For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.

(Isaiah 53:2) NASB

We were raised in a Christian home by Christian parents who did, as far as we could tell, everything right. When we were 4 years old they accepted the call to Christian service and took up the posts of managers in a Christian hotel in the beautiful seaside town of Minehead, England.

Open Door

For a fire is kindled in My anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

(Deuteronomy 32:22) NKJV

In October 2015 we went to Open Door Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with our girlfriend. The last girlfriend as it turned out. Our neighbors liked it there and they had invited us so we went.

Ethiopia

Then he found a jawbone of a donkey that had recently died. He reached down and picked it up, and killed a thousand men with it. So Samson sang,

“With the jawbone of a donkey I killed a thousand men;
With the jawbone of a donkey I piled them up in piles.”

(Judges 15:15-16) Good News Translation

On a dusty road between Kombolcha and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we explained our origin story to our pastor, in which we were like Samson at Lehi: we had to smash mainstream science with a Donkey’s jawbone.

Night Shift

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

(Habakkuk 2:2) NKJV

In the spring of 2003 we were making a mess of things as usual because we thought that living by faith was abandoning all of life’s normal responsibilities so that we could write the definitive work reconciling science with the Bible.*

Archaeopteris

O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge—by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

(1 Timothy 6:20-21) NKJV

We’re critical of the philosophical construction of the scientific method because it’s been meticulously crafted to exclude any possibility that the truth can be either an acceptable premise, or a possible conclusion.

The Theory of Evolution

They say they are wise, but they are fools; 23 instead of worshiping the immortal God, they worship images made to look like mortals or birds or animals or reptiles.

(Romans 1:22-23) Good News Translation

Evolution, naturally, goes back to Sir Charles Darwin and his infamous book: On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.

A Girded Mind

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

(1 Peter 1:13)

There are no coincidences, there’s only the working of God’s will. This week I became debt free and I acquired a vehicle for use as a Uber driver which is a significant improvement upon the one I had, which, just for extra security, I still have. I’ve been established.

Milestones

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

(Matthew 17:19-21) KJV
