Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
(Isaiah 1:16) KJV
If you thought that we had gone off the deep end before, then you should know that the deep end also has a deep end. We’re combining the gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ with Chemistry and Physics.
Though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, the stain of your guilt is still before me, declares the Lord GOD.
(Jeremiah 2:22) ESV
Cleansing, purification and refinement are a prevailing themes in the broad narrative of scripture which are fulfilled in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap.
(Malachi 3:2) ESV
The coming judgment of God is described as like being washed with strong soap. The word translated “soap” has a direct application in Chemistry. Are we surprised? No, God really is a chemist.
Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
(James 5:3) KJV
In the original Sophia Proton post we speculated that the use of Greek words in science to describe the chemical and physical properties of matter and energy isn’t an accident, but has been done by the power of the Holy Spirit to encode the fundamental physics of the universe into the words of scripture.
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
(1 Corinthians 1:30-31) ESV
We successfully tested the hypothesis that the deep, the Word of God and Jesus Christ are identities of God the Son. The scriptural context of each one is congruent with the featured passage. It’s Hypothesis 18.
We tried to read through the Qur’an about 15 years ago. Along the way it occurred to us that our time may be better spent reading the Bible. Now that we have read through the Bible 15 or so times and have been studying it daily for many years we picked up the Qur’an again. It is absolutely fascinating. Which leads us to ponder the question:
AND it’s a revelation from the God of the Holy Bible as it claims,
THEN it should be congruent with the Axioms, Corollaries and Principles of Principia Mattymatica.
We are just beginning to examine the Qur’an from a scientific perspective. Obviously this is a sensitive subject for many people and this is not something that we take lightly.
These are the Principles that the Qur’an must be compatible with:
The Qur’an must also support the following major findings:
There is a crystalline firmament on the edge of space which accounts for 90% of the mass of the universe
The expansion of hell is the cause of global warming.
Either we will deduce that the Qur’an is not compatible with the physics of the universe as revealed in the Holy Bible – in which case it is not Divine in nature, or it will be found to be compatible with the physics of the universe revealed in the Holy Bible – in which case it will be found to be a confirmation of the earlier scriptures, which is what it claims to be.
Are we brave enough to proceed with this investigation given that either outcome is likely to upset a lot of people?
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
(John 1:4) ESV
When we combine a plain reading of the texts with deductive logic it’s easy to show that Jesus Christ, the Word and “the deep” are all synonyms for God the Son.
Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him.
(John 1:3) Good news Translation
If all things were made through the Word and through Jesus Christ then they’re the same person. If the physics is that “the deep” is the source of hydrogen for nucleosynthesis then this is Him also, by default not theology.
