The Sixth Day

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The Fifth Day

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

(Genesis 1:20-23) KJV

We don’t have any problem with the process of evolution. We would even go so far as to say that speciation happens. Let’s face it, Noah’s Ark was only so big.

The Fourth Day

Then God commanded, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate day from night and to show the time when days, years, and religious festivals begin; they will shine in the sky to give light to the earth”—and it was done. So God made the two larger lights, the sun to rule over the day and the moon to rule over the night; he also made the stars. He placed the lights in the sky to shine on the earth, 18to rule over the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God was pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came—that was the fourth day.

(Genesis 1:14-19) Good News Translation

Now is the fun part. Yep I’m going to show you that the Bible describes a cosmological system that has the earth at the center. A spherical earth that doesn’t rotate. Yee Haw!

Geocentricity

Our Bible-based model of the creative process requires that the Earth is at the center of the universe, and that the cosmos is enclosed in a crystalline firmament. This is the continued development of Matty’s Paradigm, so named that you can feel okay about ignoring it.

Most people dismiss the geocentrospheric system out of hand, convinced as they are that the Earth orbits the Sun. Those who will stick around long enough for an argument usually use the fact that we landed a satellite on a comet as proof that the solar system is heliocentric, since, they think the gravitational equations involved in the space flight are based on the heliocentric model. This isn’t the case. NASA and other space agencies use geocentrospheric equations for space flights such as these.

As to the difference between the geocentrospheric and heliocentric models Fred Hoyle, who developed the idea of nucleosynthesis and who received a knighthood for his knowledge of astronomy, said this:

“We know that the difference between a heliocentric theory and a geocentric theory is one of relative motion only, and that such a difference has no physical significance.”

— Sir Fred Hoyle in Astronomy and Cosmology, 1975, p. 416.

Astronomy

Nothing speaks so clearly of a creator than if the earth is at the center of the creation. This is why people since Copernicus have been so determined to rationalize the heliocentric model. Today we live in the Star Trek universe, where spaceship earth is a tiny speck that flits through a vast cosmos full of habitable worlds, alien cultures, and anything you want.

Tycho Brahe was the last person to actually describe what he saw in the heavens. Everyone else has described WHAT THEY WANTED. Tycho Brahe’s system may not be exactly right, but it was an accurate description of observable phenomena before telescopes.

There are some myths that have to be dispelled:

  1. The Earth having an elliptical orbit of the sun.  This isn’t true. Earth’s orbit is a near perfect circle. In which case, how can we tell what’s orbiting what?
  2. Stars are distant suns. No, they are not. We don’t know what the stars are. There’s only one Sun.

Celestial Navigation

Support for our geocentrospheric model comes from an unlikely place, celestial navigation. For centuries navigators on ships used simple apparatus to be able to chart their locations. The instruments they used depended on being able to see celestial bodies, but they only worked when an important assumption is made: The Earth is at the center of the observable universe. It’s like a clock.

The center of the Earth is the center of the dial, the sun and moon move around the Earth like the large and small hands of a clock.

Biblical Prophesy

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

(Matthew 24:29) KJV

There is even more proof that the Earth is the center of the cosmos, this time from Biblical prophesy. Two passages record Jesus foretelling that the stars will fall from heaven. This same situation is also recounted in Mark’s gospel.

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

(Mark 13:25) KJV

And where are the stars going to fall to?

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

(Revelation 6:13) KJV

Why would the stars fall to earth if it weren’t at the center?

The Third Day

And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

(Genesis 1:9-13) ESV

As we build Matty’s Paradigm we find amazing opportunities to account for a lot of scriptural oddities that are a problem for Creationism and Flat Earthers alike.

The Second Day

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

(Genesis 1:6-8) KJV

On the second day the formless mass of the deep, which teemed with life created on the first day, was ordered. The ordering was to fulfill the requirement for a permanent separation of light and dark.

I Want to Free Your Mind

When I was a kid the idea that the human race had evolved was still taught as a possibility. Folks were sometimes afraid to admit that they believed it because they understood it’s significance. It is the antidote to God, at least, that’s what people hoped, even if secretly. I was educated in a system that still taught the history of science and it’s milestones as they were passed. I was shown the evolution of thought as humanity began to be bolder and bolder about what they were ready to assert.

That is long gone now. Kids are taught that the evolutionary origin of humanity is real and that anyone who has a different opinion is either stupid or Christian, and therefore an idiot. Not only that but science has a slam dunk on earth being an insignificant speck orbiting an insignificant speck drifting through a vast cosmos.

What is tragic is that people are not taught that believing science is a choice, the equivalent to an act of faith, but it is. Millions upon millions of young people have been deceived into thinking that is just is. Science includes both truth and error. Truth gives us the iPhone, error sends you to hell because you believed the lies of science and rejected Jesus Christ. Evolution, for example, is really two things bundled together as one. On one hand, it is a well documented process of change over time. On the other hand it is revered as the origin of humanity. Truth and error, as there is in so many things.

Science is a prison for your mind. From within the prison freedom looks just as stupid as the Christian trying to help you.

The origin of the human race by evolution is impossible folks, simple as that. But if I give you the key to your prison, what will you do?

You know I love Science Fiction and the cultural icons that we all know. The comparison to “The Matrix,” is just about unavoidable here. Take the blue pill and stay in your prison, believe science and go to hell when your body dies. How does that sound?

Or, take the red pill and you can be free, understand the greatness of our God, trust in Jesus Christ, repent of your sin and have everlasting life.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

Evidence is Irrelevant

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering

(2 Thessalonians 1:5) ESV

The physical world that we can see is evidence of its past. A fossil skull, for example, is proof that something happened at an earlier time. What we think it’s evidence of is based on our point of view.

The Decay Constant isn’t Constant

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

(2 Timothy 4:3-4) NKJV

The Bible says that the Earth is about 6,000 years old, yet popular science (SciPop) is convinced that it’s dated rock samples and fossils up to 3.8 or so billion years old. How could this be?

Evolution or Jesus?

Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

(Genesis 2:15-17) NKJV

Evolution is the passage of heritable traits from generation to generation, it requires billions of years of death and dying before humans could sin. The Bible says that there was no death before sin.
