August 5
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
(Genesis 1:21) KJV
Where’s the evidence of a world-wide flood? It’s world-wide. We refer to it as the stratigraphic column, sedimentary deposits which were deposited all over the world during the year-long event of Noah’s flood.

Paleobotany and the evolution of plants
We’re studying the periods of geological history as described by Wilson N. Stewart.
This was the text book we used in grad school when we studied for a masters of science in Biology.
ORDOVICIAN
Wilson N. Stewart, Paleobotany and the evolution of plants
Warm, mild climates. Warm epicontinental seas supporting an abundance of green and red algae. First vertebrates and a great variety of marine invertebrates. Graptiloids, nautiloids, cystoids in maximum abundance.
Each sentence in this description has been meticulously crafted to convey an idea of what the climate must have been like at the time that the sediment was deposited. It’s based on pondering the chain of causality which would be necessary to deposit the different beds in a formation of sediment. Clues like the range of fragment sizes, their composition, and included fossils, help us to determine how far the sediment was transported between erosion and deposition.
