Biodiversity

mating pairs of animals leaving Noah's ark

September 3

They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life. And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him. And the Lord shut him in.

(Genesis 7:15-16) ESV

There were two horses on Noah’s ark, a mating pair, now there are at least seven species in genus Equus. That’s macro-evolution. Noah’s ark was the beginning of evolution as we know it.

Spread of Amphibians

Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.

(Isaiah 30:10) NKJV

Amphibians were buried in a swamp. Does that mean that amphibians were spreading? No, it doesn’t, it means that amphibians lived in a swamp that got buried.

Evolution

Evolution

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

(Romans 1:22-23) KJV

The fifth axiom of popular science (SciPop) is Humanity is a product of biological evolution. It’s wishful thinking, an inductive rationalization of the premise of evolution.

Current Biodiversity is the Result of Evolution

I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

(Acts 11:5-6) KJV

Axiom V is “Current Biodiversity is the Result of Evolution.” We can deduce Principle I from the following physical evidence, empirical observations or established theories which are part of Axiom V.

Predator and Prey

So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.

(Genesis 9:1-3) NKJV

After Noah’s flood a carnivorous diet was on the menu, so predator-prey relationships developed which, no doubt, spurred the animals to spread out very quickly.

How Much Variability is in a Kind?

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.

(Genesis 1:24) NKJV

We can combine Noah’s flood, Peleg’s tectonics and knowledge of the process of devolution to help us clear up what level of variability is represented by the Biblical word KIND.
