The Success or Failure of Popular Science

July 21

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

(2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) NKJV

If you could get everyone, the whole world, to believe something which isn’t true would that be success or failure?

Matty’s Constant

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

(Galatians 1:12) KJV

No one has ever weighed the sun or the planets. The values that we use for their mass are derived from the A priori assumption of either Heliocentricity or Geocentrosphericity.

The Mass of the Sun

April 14

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?

(Isaiah 40:12) ESV

The first question that people ask when they reject the Geocentrospheric cosmological system is this: they ask “why would a massive sun orbit a less massive Earth?”

Seeing but not Perceiving

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

(Isaiah 6:9) KJV

Johannes Kepler was hired by Tycho Brahe as a mathematician to analyze the extensive charts and tables which documented Brahe’s observations of the cosmos.

Lunatic Fringe or Legitimate Threat?

Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

(Job 11:7-8) KJV

Despite the self-evident truth of empirical observations of our Geocentrospheric cosmos, popular science (SciPop) promotes a rationalization for them that has no physical cause.

Circles of Life

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

(Psalms 19:1-6) ESV

If the Earth is at the center of the universe, and the Sun orbits the Earth, then these bodies are the two foci of elliptical planetary orbits required by Kepler’s laws.

Celestial Navigation

Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

(Job 9:9) KJV

Biblical cosmology is Geocentrospheric but it’s not a problem because it’s an empirical observation. Christians who combine the Bible with heliocentricity are in for a bumpy ride.

Destroying Strongholds

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

(2 Corinthians 10:4-6) ESV

The Geocentrospheric cosmological model in Matty’s Paradigm is a) empirical (directly observable) and b) meets the requirements of Kepler’s laws. The heliocentric theory is neither a) nor b).

Voyager and Relative Motion

The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

(Ecclesiastes 1:6) KJV

People today, by and large, mistakenly believe that Geocentrosphericity has been disproved and that heliocentricity is true.

Galileo’s Bluff

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

(Romans 1:21) KJV

The Earth is at the center of the observable universe. It’s an empirical observation. Heliocentricity isn’t observed, it’s theoretical. Oddly enough, people today simply can’t grasp this concept.
