Christian Inductive Capitulation

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

(James 4:4) NKJV

Scientific Christians who want to be regarded as “real scientists” are using math to resolve the Bible with the popular science narrative of godless existence (SciPop) which was designed to make the Bible look stupid.

Come as You Are

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

(James 2:1-4) KJV

This is a warning that we shouldn’t treat people differently based on the clothing that they’re wearing. It’s talking about a visitor to the church. When did this become the idea that you can wear whatever you want to church because it doesn’t matter?

The Course of Nature

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

(James 3:6) NKJV

There’s a New Testament confirmation of the event described in Deuteronomy 32:22 when the fire of hell was kindled and nuclear decay began. Here we’re told that the tongue, the serpent beguiling Eve and Adam blaming his wife, set on fire the course of nature which in this case means melting the core of the Earth.

Sets on Fire the Course of Nature

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

(James 3:6) NKJV

The interesting part of this verse isn’t, surprisingly, the reference to hell. In this passage the word translated as hell is gehenna. Jesus uses gehenna, continual burning trash and bodies in the vale of Hinnom, as a picture of what the fire of hell is going to be like. The interesting part is sets on fire the course of nature.

One Life to Live

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(2 Peter 3:9) KJV

God created the Earth’s environment and our physical bodies as a way of giving each soul an opportunity to come to know the truth about God and choose for themselves whether or not they want to have fellowship with him in eternity.

The Prayer of Faith

Danby House

James # 15

The Prayer of Faith

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Restoring a Sinner

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

( James 5:13-20 ) KJV

Remember 9/11/2001

FILE – In this Sept. 11, 2001 file photo the twin towers of the World Trade Center burn behind the Empire State Building in New York after terrorists crashed two planes into the towers causing both to collapse. The government is preparing to release a once-classified chapter of a congressional report about the attacks of Sept. 11, that questions whether Saudi nationals who helped the hijackers with things like finding apartments and opening bank accounts knew what they were planning. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday July 15, 2016, that the release of the 28-page chapter is “imminent.” (AP Photo/Marty Lederhandler)

The Precious Fruit of the Earth

Danby House

James # 14

7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! 10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. 11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

( James 5:7-12 ) KJV
The Precious Fruit of the Earth

Fruit: καρπὸν – karpos

  • fruit
  • (a) fruit, generally vegetable, sometimes animal,
  • (b) met: fruit, deed, action, result,
  • (c) profit, gain.
  • karpós – properly, fruit; (figuratively) everything done in true partnership with Christ, i.e. a believer (a branch) lives in union with Christ (the Vine). By definition, fruit (2590/karpós) results from two life-streams – the Lord living His life through ours – to yield what is eternal (cf. 1 Jn 4:17).
  • Jn 15:1,2: “1I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-dresser. 2Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit (2590/karpós), He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit” (NASU).

The Greek word karpos and its meaning “fruit” give us the word carpel in Botany. The carpel is the female reproductive organ of a plant composed of the stigma, style and ovary. Once fertilized by pollen it would become the fruit.

  • mid 19th century: from French carpelle or modern Latin carpellum, from Greek karpos ‘fruit’.

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

The actual significance of katioó is unknown, but for time being it serves as a positive result in what is now a predictive testable hypothesis. As such, it could be said that Kat Ion is Sophia Proton’s sidekick.

(James 5:3) KJV

In the original Sophia Proton post we speculated that the use of Greek words in science to describe the chemical and physical properties of matter and energy isn’t an accident, but has been done by the power of the Holy Spirit to encode the fundamental physics of the universe into the words of scripture.

Weep and Howl

Danby House

James # 13

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
