Circles of Life

{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. Myth buster: The Earth-sun orbit isn’t elliptical. The Earth-sun radius is, for all practical purposes, constant. Any apparent eccentricity is variation in the Sun’s orbital radius, not the Earth-sun radius.

If the Earth is the center of the observable universe, and the Sun orbits the Earth, then these bodies are the two foci in elliptical planetary orbits that are required by Kepler’s laws. Our Geocentrospheric cosmological model provides a stable cause for the empirical laws of Kepler for which heliocentricity doesn’t. There’s just one problem, or, potential problem. If the Sun orbits the Earth then its orbit has only one focus, therefore the Sun’s orbit should be circular, not elliptical.

Mainstream Science (SciPop) and Truth are Mutually Exclusive

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Years ago we found an article in Discover which explains that the Earth and Sun maintain pretty much a constant distance from each other. We say pretty much because it would be unscientific to be more specific than that. The seasons aren’t caused because the distance between the Sun and Earth is changing, seasons are caused by the Sun’s orbit being in a slightly different position every day throughout the course of a year.

Presenting work from the realm of mainstream science (SciPop) which has some age on it can provoke a caustic response: it’s not current and therefore it’s inaccurate. This shows that SciPop and the truth are mutually exclusive. The truth is absolute and unchanging. SciPop has to be in constant flux. If we cite scientific work which is 500 years old, or 10 years old, the SciPop community will complain that it’s out of date. That means that it was inaccurate to begin with, and whatever is currently in favor will be out of date sooner or later.

It’s an example of Heisenberg’s Uncertainty principle. SciPop and truth can’t occupy the same space. If SciPop could be settled and stable then a lot of people would be out of work. Not only is it conceptually impossible for SciPop to be truth, it’s not economically viable to have SciPop settle on an answer. The next generation of scientists can’t make names for themselves by proudly proclaiming that the work of their older peers is accurate, adequate and sufficient.

There’s variation in the Sun’s orbital radius, but that’s not the same as the Earth-sun radius, which is constant. The Sun maintains a fixed distance from the Earth and the Firmament, however, as its helical orbit moves during the course of a year its orbital radius changes.

Are We Breaking the Speed Limit?

So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

(Judges 5:31) KJV

One possible argument against the Geocentrospheric model is that any planetary body past Neptune would have to be traveling faster than the speed of light. Some falsely claim that the sun would have to be traveling faster than the speed of light.

There are several ways to handle this, but there’s no way that any of God’s creation violates the physical laws which God established, so we’ll keep it simple for now and just do the math.

The Speed of the Sun

• IF the Earth-sun radius (AU) is 93 million miles,
  • (93,000,000 x 2) x 3.14159 = 584,335,740 miles,
  • / 24 hrs = 24,347,322.5 (24 million) mph.
• AND the speed of light (c) = 671 million (6.71^8) mph,
• THEN the Sun is traveling about 4% of the speed of light (0.04c).
