Hubble, Redshift, Star Trek & Exoplanets

And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

(Revelation 21:19-20) KJV

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) have been reviewing the development of Physics in the 20th Century. We got to the conundrum of what’s stopping the universe from collapsing under the force of its own gravity.

Our passage today describes the foundations of heaven, the firmament, as layers of various crystal forms. This is the source of the crystalline firmament material (CFM) of which the majority of stars are made.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Matty’s Razor

Redshift

The most tantalizing possibility, irresistible in fact, is that the universe can’t collapse because it’s expanding. Supposedly, Sir Edwin Hubble and others produced observational evidence of universal expansion. They didn’t, what they found was measurements of the spectra of starlight which were redshifted.

The explanation which they tendered to go explain this phenomenon involves the Doppler Effect. A Police car siren appears to be higher pitched while the car is approaching the listener, and lower pitched as it recedes away. As the source of sound waves moves towards the listener it causes an apparent compression of the wavelength of the sound. As the source of sound moves away the opposite happens: the wavelength appears to stretch.

When it comes to the spectra of starlight it’s said that the apparent redshift was due to a galaxy moving away from us. The amount of redshift relates to the speed of recession: the further away it a galaxy is, the faster it’s moving. Hubble developed a constant which is used to calculate recession speed. It’s also used to extrapolate back in time to calculate how long ago the universe was a hot dense mass right after the Big Bang.

By the application of egregious theoretical fudge (ETF) it is possible to use the Hubble constant to come up with an age for the universe which fits the timescale required by biological evolution. Obviously this is a theoretical slam dunk as it perfectly complements and enhances the mainstream science narrative of godless existence (SciPop). Makes one wonder if the constant was induced by consideration of the biological age of the universe… but that would be circular reasoning. Just saying. Of course, none of it’s a testable hypothesis so it’s not scientific. Apparently that doesn’t matter. Peer review wants it to be true, so that’s what you’re expected to believe.

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

– Faith, definition

The SciPop narrative depends on the notion of an expanding universe. However, in his later work Hubble backtracked from it. He concluded that there was no universal expansion, and that redshift must be due to some hitherto unknown phenomenon, possibly the loss of energy as light travels through space. Peer review had already decided that it wanted redshift to mean that the universe was expanding, so Hubble was ignored.

The problem with redshift and its distribution is that it shows shows once again that that Earth is the center of the cosmos. In Matty’s Paradigm there are 2 explanations for the apparent redshift of starlight:

Redshift in Matty’s Paradigm

Two things can account for redshift:

  1. Some stars aren’t redshifted, they’re red colored,
  2. Gravitational time dilation (GTD),
    • time slows down the closer we are to the center of the Earth,
      • which causes the apparent stretching of light wavelengths.
    • Redshift is a measurement of the relative distance to stellar objects,
      • not recession speed.

Predictive Testable Hypothesis 6

  • IF gravity is a field emitted from the center of the Earth,
    • and time is a function of gravity
      • time passes more slowly the closer you are to the center of the Earth
      • time passes more quickly at the distance of the stars,
  • THEN time slows down as light approaches Earth and this causes the apparent elongation of wavelengths,
  • THEREFORE redshift is a measurement of relative distance to the stars,
    • not recession speed.

The reason for creation is the manifestation of sentient life with free will.

Blueshift

There are also blueshifted stars, such as Barnard’s Star, which means that those stars are traveling toward us. This is perfectly aligned with the Biblical narrative in which a portion of the stars will fall to the earth. Evidently they are already on the way.

Science uses ETF to fit this into the godless existence narrative. Here are some examples from Wikipedia, which may as well be s script for an episode of Star Trek:

  • Blazars are known to propel relativistic jets toward us, emitting synchrotron radiation and bremsstrahlung that appears blueshifted.
  • Doppler blueshift of distant objects with a high z can be subtracted from the much larger cosmological redshift to determine relative motion in the expanding universe.

I have a blue blazer, but I don’t use it to dig my way out of a theoretical hole. In Matty’s Paradigm there are 2 reasons why stars appear blueshifted:

Blueshift in Matty’s Paradigm

  1. Some stars aren’t blueshifted, they’re blue colored,
    • they’re crystalline firmament material (CFM) with a composition similar to sapphire or other blue crystals, or
  2. They’re on a collision course with Earth in accordance with Biblical prophecy.

The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.

Redshift/Blueshift

Some stars are observed to alternate between being redshifted and blueshifted. This really captured the overactive imaginations of scientists raised on a steady diet of Star Trek and Star Wars.

The development of theoretical Physics since the 1960s has been synchronous with the TV show Star Trek being aired. Popular culture fell in love with the idea that distant stars could have planets around them capable of supporting human life. Once we had all seen the Mos Eisley Cantina there was nothing to stop the Peer Review propaganda machine from validating it with scientific jargon.

When stars were first detected with alternating redshift/blueshift it was confusing, but it didn’t take Trekkie scientists long to inductively rationalize it as evidence of exoplanets.

Supposedly the change from redshift to blueshift occurs because the motion of an exoplanet around a star causes it to wobble back and forth.

In Matty’s Paradigm stars which alternate redshift/blueshift are composed of a layer each of Ruby and Sapphire. They rotate, showing alternating red and blue colored reflecting surfaces. They’re in the Kuiper belt, not light years away. There’s observational evidence of ruby and sapphire reflecting light from out in the cosmos. The problem is that the people who do this work and report on it are Trekkies: so immersed in the SciPop narrative that they have to induce a rationalization that fits the narrative. It’s reported like this:

Winds of Rubies and Sapphires

Powerful winds detected on gas giant outside solar system for the first time.

An exoplanet 16 times bigger than the Earth has shown signs of powerful changing winds, say researchers. This is the first time that the weather systems were observed on a gas giant outside of the solar system and the researchers documented their findings in the journal Nature Astronomy.

Techtimes

There aren’t any gas giants outside the solar system, that’s a side-effect of the warped geometry of the SciPop paradigm. The observation isn’t an extra-solar gas giant exoplanet. The observation is spectra which are similar to ruby and sapphire: CFM.

Redshift highlights the danger of peer review: when speculation enhances the mainstream science narrative of godless existence (SciPop), the scientific community will ignore the normal rules of science.
