Jeremiah, Bones on Fire

O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

(Jeremiah 20:7-9) KJV

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) just found the next member of Sophia Proton’s superhero team: Jeremiah. Whenever he gets in a tight spot, his bones burst into flames.

He could be like Bruce Banner, a meek, mild, unassuming fellow who no one thinks anything of, but when he gets angry, irritated or hurt it triggers his transformation into a pillar of fire. UNLESS he starts preaching.

And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.

(Joel 2:28) ESV

We were in a CBD store recently, looking around at all the hippie themed gear. The assistant was being so kind and helpful that we mentioned to them that we were a Christian. Before you knew it he was prophesying. He started explaining about the Holy spirit and how everything is connected. We asked him why he wasn’t a preacher.

It looks like we (that’s all of us) are going to be bringing bring this age in for a landing. A very hard landing. It would be good if some of us would burst into preaching anytime that we get the opportunity.
