And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
( Genesis 10:25 ) KJV
The expansion of hell consumed the foundations of the mountains. That’s a way of saying that earth’s core became completely molten. The pillars of the earth lost their base of support. The mantle collapsed.
42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
47* For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. 49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. 51* But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

1. Progress
Paul states their mission and calling.
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
( Isaiah 42:5-7 ) KJV
The people respond.
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
( 1 Corinthians 3:7 ) KJV
2. Persecution
The establishment is jealous.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
( John 15:18-19 ) KJV
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
( Matthew 10:23 ) KJV
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
( Matthew 10:14-15 ) KJV
And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
( Luke 9:5 ) KJV
3. Perseverence
Persevere for the work:
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
( Psalms 126:5-6 ) KJV
Persevere for yourself:
God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
( Isaiah 46:10 ) KJV
If seismic P-waves can propagate through solid, liquid or gas, how do we know that there is a liquid outer core rather than a great gulf of open space in the P-wave shadow zone?
Every valley shall be exalted,
and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be
made straight, and the rough places plain:
( Isaiah 40:4 ) KJV
We have made a lot of progress on the structuring of the November blogs posts. Here is our work so far summarizing the scripture which has to incorporated into our model.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
( Genesis 10:25 ) KJV
We are able to describe a physical process which accounts for the formation of tectonic plates, incorporates the expansion of hell, and sets us up for the fulfillment of future prophecy.
And the whole earth was of one
language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from
the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt
there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn
them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for
morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose
top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be
scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came
down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all
one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be
restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go
down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand
one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon
the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there
confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD
scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
( Genesis 11:1-8 ) KJV
101 years elapsed between the end of Noah’s flood and the birth of Peleg when the tectonic plates formed. The establishment and abandoning of Babel and the spread of people across Pangaea took place during this period of time.
Sing unto the LORD a new song, and
his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and
all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
( Isaiah 42:10 ) KJV
Why are Monotremes only found in Australia ? Because that’s where their
common ancestor migrated to after Noah’s flood. Just in time for the
tectonic breakup of Pangaea.
Australia was part of Pangaea for 200 years after Noah’s flood. So to all of the evolutionists who have been vexing Creationists with the issue of Australia’s unique fauna: time’s up, find a new game. Sing a new song.
13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. 14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. 16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience. 17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it. 18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness. 19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot. 20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. 22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. 27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him. 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain. 29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. 30 But God raised him from the dead: 31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. 32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. 35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. 38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
( Acts 13:13-41 ) KJV
Antioch in Pisidia
13
Paul wanted to go East, further away from home. John Mark wanted to go home. John departed. Fast forward to Acts 15:36-40
Their journey began at Antioch in Syria, they found themselves at Antioch in Pisidia, modern day Turkey. There is more than one Antioch. Like there is more than one London.

Incidentally there is only one Minehead.
When Paul is given an opportunity to give his testimony he, knowing his audience, starts all the way back at the patriarchs.
This is a very different approach to the one Peter took with Cornelius in Acts 10:34-43
Also Paul, when he preaches to gentiles, for instance in Athens, in Acts 17:22-30
It’s like the reason why I hate dating, having to start over from the beginning and explain myself. I’d rather just not bother.
7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! 10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. 11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.
( James 5:7-12 ) KJV
The Precious Fruit of the Earth
Fruit: καρπὸν – karpos
fruit
(a) fruit, generally vegetable, sometimes animal,
(b) met: fruit, deed, action, result,
(c) profit, gain.
karpós – properly, fruit; (figuratively) everything done in true partnership with Christ, i.e. a believer (a branch) lives in union with Christ (the Vine). By definition, fruit (2590/karpós) results from two life-streams – the Lord living His life through ours – to yield what is eternal (cf. 1 Jn 4:17).
Jn 15:1,2: “1I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-dresser. 2Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit (2590/karpós), He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit” (NASU).
The Greek word karpos and its meaning “fruit” give us the word carpel in Botany. The carpel is the female reproductive organ of a plant composed of the stigma, style and ovary. Once fertilized by pollen it would become the fruit.
mid 19th century: from French carpelle or modern Latin carpellum, from Greek karpos ‘fruit’.
fruit results from two life-streams – the Lord living His life through ours – to yield what is eternal
In the selfsame day entered Noah,
and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and
the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; They, and every
beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every
fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. And they went in unto
Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the
breath of life. And they that went in, went in male and female of all
flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
( Genesis 7:13-16 ) KJV
If Noah’s ark was the origin of all terrestrial life then we can see the role of evolution. There were 2 horses on the ark, now there are at least 7 species in genus Equus. Evolution is part of the creation narrative.
