Four different Biblical phrases refer to a specific feature of the internal structure of the Earth. They confirm our hypothesis that the interior of the Earth was tehom before Noah’s flood, and sheol after it.

The Great Gulf P-wave Shadow

The popular science (SciPop) “liquid outer core” is speculative at best, and there’s no reason why it can’t be open space. The P-wave shadow zone is the great gulf of which Jesus spoke in Luke 16:26.

The Earth was Divided

(1 Chronicles 1:19) NKJV

For a fire is kindled in My anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

(Deuteronomy 32:22) NKJV

The fire kindled in the lowest hell consumed the core of the Earth. The core melted completely so that the pillars of the Earth lost their base of support. The mantle collapsed.

Peleg’s small and unremarkable appearance in the Bible allows us to resolve the expansion of hell, tectonic plates, evolution, distribution of biodiversity, and the fulfillment of prophecy with a theory of gravity.

Loaded With Benefits

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

What are our benefits?

  • No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)

Immune to weapons.

  • But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. (1 Thessalonians 5:8-11)

Armored, not appointed to wrath, obtained salvation, live forever in Christ.

  • Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Babel

Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

(Genesis 11:1-4) NKJV

We’re told that, after Noah’s flood, the people decided to stay together as a community and build a city. That wasn’t what God had in mind. He was working with a deadline.

Why is the Interior of the Earth Hot?

Matthew 5:22

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Science is supposed to know the answer to this question.

It doesn’t.

One possible explanation is compatible with our hypothesis that God created gravity on the 2nd day, and the earth formed around it.

Peleg’s Tectonics

Genesis 10:25

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

After Noah’s flood the next major cataclysm was the breakup of the super-continent Pangaea, and the formation of tectonic plates.
We can deduce that this took place in the time of Peleg.

Monotremes

Australia was part of Pangaea for 101 years after Noah’s flood. That’s how Monotremes got there. If you’ve been vexing Creationists with the issue of Australia’s unique fauna: time’s up, find a new game. Sing a new song.
