Earth in Upheaval

Hardened lave flows around a volcano

September 15

Then Job answered and said, I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered? Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

(Job 9:1-6) KJV

The Whole Earth

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

(Daniel 2:35) ESV

When we consider the similarities between the third day and the Millennial Kingdom we should realize that, if flat Earth is Biblical, then maps of the supposed flat Earth should have Jerusalem at the center. They don’t.

The Dry Land

And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:9-10) English Standard Version

God made the dry land appear on the third day. The dry ground is, obviously, the surface of the Earth. For our purposes the surface of the Earth is considered to be a feature of the crust.

Uniform, Mild Climates

He produced manuals on botany, describing every kind of plant, from the cedars of Lebanon to the hyssop that grows on walls. He also produced manuals on biology, describing animals, birds, insects, and fish.

(1 Kings 4:33) NET Bible

The Triassic marks a return to the format which we saw repeatedly for the periods of the Paleozoic era. We know that these sediments were deposited during the deluge phase of Noah’s flood because of the climate statement.

The Whole Earth

Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Peleg’s Tectonics

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

( Genesis 10:25 ) KJV

Babel

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

( Genesis 11:1-8 ) KJV

101 years elapsed between the end of Noah’s flood and the birth of Peleg when the tectonic plates formed. The establishment and abandoning of Babel and the spread of people across Pangaea took place during this period of time.
