Axiom IV – The Internal Structure of Earth and Size of the Cosmos are Unknowable

Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

Most people think that popular science (SciPop) has measured the cosmos, and that Earth’s internal structure is well known. They also think that it’s all been measured by spacecraft, like Star Trek.

What can we say? Hell is continuing to expand. It’s the cause of global warming. Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to escape it. The expansion of hell is at least 2 predictive testable hypotheses:

  1. If hell is expanding then oceans should be warming from the bottom up,
  2. If hell is at the center of the earth and there is a great gulf of open space as Jesus described (Luke 16:19-31) then we would expect to find that it is indicated by a P-wave shadow zone.

Both of these hypotheses are confirmed by empirical observations.

The expansion of hell melted the foundations of the mountains completely. There was now no support for the pillars of the earth and the crust of the earth collapsed.

It appears that the earth lost about 1,200 km of radius, and 8,000 km in circumference. Both of these concepts are part of the development of the theory of plate tectonics, they are referred to as radial shrinkage and circumferential shortening.

It is hard to imagine living through this event. Certainly we have not experienced anything this dramatic since it happened.

Pangaea

The Pangaea Super-continent after Noah's flood

These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.

(Genesis 10:1) ESV

In popular science (SciPop) Pangaea is the original super-continent which predates the formation of the continents as we know them today. This is a conclusion which we deduce from the evidence.

Earth in Upheaval is the name of a book by Immanuel Velikovsky which lays out his summary of the evidence for cataclysmic upheavals in the history of Earth.

The Speed of Plate Tectonics

He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

The Pangaea super-continent broke up into tectonic plates and these moved into their current locations over the space of a century or so. How do we know? By studying paleomagnetism.

Circumferential Shortening

The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.

At the tectonic breakup of Pangaea the Earth lost 1,282 Km of radius and 8,055 Km of circumference.

Four different Biblical phrases refer to a specific feature of the internal structure of the Earth. They confirm our hypothesis that the interior of the Earth was tehom before Noah’s flood, and sheol after it.

The Great Gulf P-wave Shadow

And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’

And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

(Luke 16:23-24, 26) NKJV

The popular science (SciPop) “liquid outer core” is speculative at best, and there’s no reason why it can’t be open space. The P-wave shadow zone is the great gulf of which Jesus spoke in Luke 16:26.
