The Trinity in the Beginning

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

(Acts 17:24) KJV

Theological commentaries, especially mainstream (liberal) ones, will happily tell you that there’s no actual statement of the doctrine of the Trinity in scripture. They want you to think that it’s something that the Church fathers cobbled together at one of their councils where they, supposedly, cobbled the Bible together.

Do Christians get Social Media?

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

(Matthew 28:19-20) KJV

Given the timeliness of social media the world wide web it would seem to be the perfect vessel for carrying out the great commission. However Christian attitudes to social media are variable.

October 3rd

Social Media and the Great Commission

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

(Ezekiel 3:18-19) KJV

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) are going to warn everyone about hell whether they like it or not. If they don’t listen it’s too bad, but their blood won’t be on our hands.

May 31st

Fed by Ravens

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

(John 7:17) KJV

Did you know that it’s possible to know God’s will? That is, what to do NEXT? When that’s done, the next task is revealed. It’s like following a trail of bread crumbs, or being fed by ravens. We come to know God’s will by doing God’s will.
