Mantle Collapse

Cutaway Earth with molten hell at the center, after Peleg's tectonics and radial shrinkage

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.

(Isaiah 24:20) NKJV

The expansion of hell is scriptural, it gives us a physical mechanism which drives the major catastrophic upheavals of history and it also accounts for a current phenomenon: global warming.

From Peleg to Abraham

Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and begot Terah. After he begot Terah, Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years, and begot sons and daughters. Now Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

(Genesis 11:24-26) NKJV

The tectonic plates formed at least 201 years before the birth of Abraham. Noah’s flood was at least 302 years before Abraham. So much for the geological timescale.

From Noah to Peleg

Eber lived thirty-four years, and begot Peleg. After he begot Peleg, Eber lived four hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters. Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu. After he begot Reu, Peleg lived two hundred and nine years, and begot sons and daughters.

(Genesis 11:16-19) NKJV

It’s possible to be precise with the timing of the tectonic breakup of Pangaea. The time-lapse from Noah’s flood to Peleg, and from Peleg to Abraham is recorded in Genesis 11:10-26.

Creationism Schism

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

(Titus 3:8-9) NKJV

Tectonic breakup of Pangaea had to be after Babel. It’s a logically certain conclusion. It’s the only way to reconcile the Bible with the physical evidence. The result is a perfect harmonization of scripture with science.

Hypothesis 35

To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg (for in his days the earth was divided), and his brother’s name was Joktan.

(1 Chronicles 1:19) ESV

The Pangaea super-continent was broken into continental landmasses sometime after the tower of Babel. People and fauna were dispersed to all corners of Pangaea and then the tectonic plates formed.

How Much Variability is in a Kind?

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.

(Genesis 1:24) NKJV

We can combine Noah’s flood, Peleg’s tectonics and knowledge of the process of devolution to help us clear up what level of variability is represented by the Biblical word KIND.

Pangaean Mediterranean

Did Pangaea have a precursor to the Mediterranean?

From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.

(Genesis 10:5) NKJV

We have very little scriptural account of what happened in the period between Noah’s flood and Peleg, besides Babel. What we do have, however, indicates that Pangaea had a precursor of the Mediterranean sea.

The Sons of Noah

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

(Genesis 10:2-4) NKJV

The time between Noah’s flood and Peleg’s tectonics was when the dispersal from Babel took place. From Babel small family groups spread out, figuratively speaking, to the ends of the Earth.
