On earth 1 day is equal to 1,000 years at the distance of the firmament, but at the firmament 1 day is equal to 1,000 years on earth. It’s a paradox. It is also mathematically perfect in 2 Peter 3:8.
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

It is claimed that since Einstein made a prediction about time dilation this proves relativity. If gravitational time dilation was predicted by Moses about 1,400 years BC does it prove the Bible?
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

It is not possible to prove that the earth is rotating. Experimental results which have formerly been used as a way to prove that the earth has daily rotation are examples of GDE on a stationary earth.
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see. Math requires believing in concepts that you can’t see, and relating them to each other in ways that can’t be seen. Math is inductive, reductive, circular faith.

We have connected the phrases “established the world,” and “setteth fast the mountains,” with a concept of sinking down. This is the second Hebrew concept of gravity in the correct context of the 2nd day of creation.

If you don’t understand popular science well enough to know that it is not a threat to the truth of the Bible, but try to live a Christian life without the truth of the Bible, then you have no armor of light.

If we accept an effect as being its own cause we have done something called inductive reasoning, where our premise is used to supply evidence for our conclusion. This is circular reasoning.

If God made a point in space the permanent center of creation, but yet he dwells above and apart from it, does this represent a sacrificial act? Did God have to give up part of himself to accomplish this?

Taking Bible verses out of context and making doctrines is dangerous, but what if we keep the context and find that they are consistent with our paradigm, the broad narrative of scripture and empirical observations?
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

For the Christians out there who have capitulated with science and believe that the earth is adrift in an infinite universe, there is no third heaven, so what is Paul referring to?
