“Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it. But the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard, and there are few people who find it.(Matthew 7:13-14) Good News Translation
We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) have a lot to say about mainstream science (SciPop). That’s because it stands in opposition to the truth and we’ve been called to destroy its theoretical foundation.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.(2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) NKJV
The truth about God is self-evident but we’ve all been given free will. Therefore there must be a plausible alternative to the truth for those who want it. It’s called the strong delusion or the power of error.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.(Genesis 10:25) NKJV
How do we account for fossils when the fossils are older than the geographic features that they’re part of? “Marked world-wide continental uplifts and a major orogeny resulting in the rise of the Alps.“

It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.(Luke 17:2) NKJV
The second of three Bible verses used in an accusatory manner against us. The irony here is that they were tweeted at us by an atheist.

Even so, Come, Lord Jesus
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.(Revelation 22:20) KJV
If Jesus is coming quickly then what are we doing to get ready? Someone is supposed to be clearing the way, flattening the hills, straightening the curves and making the rough places smooth.

And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. (Ezekiel 14:9) KJV
Context is like cause. Words in isolation are an effect. I have discussed that a symptom of the reprobate mind is the inability to comprehend the necessity of cause, and its relation to effect.

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;(1 Peter 1:13)
There are no coincidences, there’s only the working of God’s will. This week I became debt free and I acquired a vehicle for use as a Uber driver which is a significant improvement upon the one I had, which, just for extra security, I still have. I’ve been established.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.(Genesis 1:20-23) KJV
The Bible describes a sequential process of creating life by sphere. There are five spheres to consider: hydrosphere, lithosphere, firmasphere, atmosphere and biosphere.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.(Matthew 7:24-27) KJV
This month has been a challenging look at the 4th day of creation, because it involves pulling down a stronghold of science: theoretical physics. We’ve known that we would have to do this for many years but we avoided it for as long as possible.

O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.(Jeremiah 20:7) KJV
Continuing on from yesterday we are considering the charge made by members of the atheist community that God lies in the Bible. He doesn’t. Every one of the cited examples are flimsy at best.
