For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.(Romans 1:18-23) ESV
Mainstream science (SciPop) and the scientific method as the arbiter and judge of human knowledge has failed in two ways: to abide by it’s own rules; and it’s failed to deliver on it’s promises.
We used the same evidence that popular science (SciPop) uses and got a different result. That means that SciPop isn’t repeatable. Therefore, according to it’s own rules, SciPop isn’t scientific.
However, that was the plan. The Bible tells us that the truth about God is self-evident and no one has an excuse not to believe. The beauty and complexity of nature is a witness to the power of our almighty creator God. But you’ve have been given a choice. No one’s going to make you believe, and so SciPop has been provided as a plausible alternative. It’s the strong delusion.
Most people who deny God think that they’re justified in doing it because they believe in the evolutionary origin of humanity, but they don’t have the clue about the false assumptions on which the narrative has been based. They don’t care. The truth is they’re denying God because they want to. Evolution is just the excuse. Except that it isn’t, and they’re going to pay for using it as one for eternity.
As far as they’re concerned iPhones are totally cool and that’s science, so the evolutionary origin of humanity must be true too, because that’s also science. They can happily forget about God and go one with their lives. Except that they’re not happy and they can’t forget about God.
This is the other failure of SciPop. If we’re descended from apes and there’s no morality, no sin, and no judgement, then there’s nothing to feel guilty about. So why do we feel guilty? That’s our conscience, the other witness to the truth about God: our instinctive understanding of right and wrong. SciPop is trying to be the antidote to God, but it’s not working.
