Foursquare
So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.
(Ezekiel 40:47) KJV
And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
(Revelation 21:16) KJV
God’s a plan involves us going into eternity in a city which has equal X and Y dimensions, since we’ve satisfied the requirements of a spherical Earth, we’ll model the Millennial Kingdom as foursquare.
We’ve already established the fact that the continental landmass of Pangaea 2.0 can have geometric corners and the Earth can be a sphere. This debunks the idea that a literal interpretation of the Bible requires that the Earth is flat.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
The simple fact is that a spherical earth allows us to account for everything that the Bible has to say about the matter. However, we are going to take this a step further and incorporate the idea that part of God’s plan involves a creation which has equal X and Y dimensions: foursquare.
The two passages above are on either side of the end of the age. Ezekiel describes a vision of Jerusalem and the temple of the Lord which will exist for the duration of the Millennial Kingdom. John’s vision in Revelation is of a Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven after the current heavens and earth have passed away. Both are built on a plan in which the X and Y dimensions are equal.
You don’t believe me? Let’s look a little deeper into Ezekiel’s vision. The word foursquare only occurs twice in the Bible in the passages featured above, however, descriptions in which X and Y dimensions are equal are more common. Here are a couple of examples:
So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long; Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.
(Ezekiel 41:13-14) KJV
He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about. He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about. He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed. He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
(Ezekiel 42:16-19) KJV

We know that during the tribulation the people of the world will come from the four corners of the Earth to the temple, the mountain of the Lord’s house in Jerusalem. We also know that at the end of the Millennial Kingdom the armies of the world will come from the four quarters of the Earth to fight a final battle. We can satisfy a literal interpretation of the phrase four corners of the earth in our spherical hollow earth model.
