A Pure River of Water of Life
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(Revelation 22:1-2) ESV
We live in a universe governed by physical laws. One of them is the first law of thermodynamics which says that energy can’t be created or destroyed, just transformed from one form to another.
We’re deducing a scientific theory of creation and we believe that God created in such a way that none of the laws of physics have been broken, far from it, God established the laws in the process of creating the universe.
This being the case we’re going to do a couple of things:
- Challenge the frankly idiotic notion that God created the universe from nothing, ex nihilo,
- show how water is a common thread which runs from before creation started until it passes on into eternity.
There are periods of time during the history of the Earth which can be distinguished by their hydrological cycle. We’re going to review these different cycle types. We’ve concluded that water has the following properties.
Properties of Water
- A substance which predates creation, from which the universe was created.
- The physical medium in which cause and effect are linked.
- The essence of free will.
- A physical substance which allows God to manifest his glory.
