Johannes Kepler: Galen Urso?

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) have been pondering Johannes Kepler. He was hired by Tycho Brahe as a mathematician to analyze the extensive charts and tables which documented Brahe’s observations of the cosmos.

Brahe had made meticulous records which reflected the empirical reality: Earth is the center of the observable universe. The problem was that the simplified model he had made, with circular planetary orbits, wasn’t able to predict planetary motion accurately. He knew something wasn’t right so he hired Kepler to figure it out.

Can the Stargazers Save You?

Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

(Isaiah 47:13) KJV

Brahe was afraid that Kepler would use his observations to prove the speculative model of heliocentricity. According to the historical narrative, that’s what happened. But was it really that simple?

Kepler made calculations based on Brahe’s observations and showed that the planetary orbits aren’t circular, as Brahe had supposed, but elliptical. This was the reason why Brahe’s model didn’t work. What’s fascinating is that Kepler showed that the Sun is at one focus of elliptical planetary orbits. Ellipses have two foci. Kepler didn’t identify a source of gravity at the second focus. No did he give any reason as to WHY the orbits were elliptical. This is the part which is peculiar.

If Brahe’s observations of a Geocentrospheric cosmos were interpreted by Kepler to show that the Sun was at one focus of planetary orbits, and all this is observed from the Earth, then isn’t it obvious that the Earth is the second focus?

What kind of idiot could take Tycho Brahe’s data and come up with an empirical law that has no scientific explanation? It blows the mind. He was either stupid or he had an agenda. However, how could a genius mathematician be stupid, and what was the agenda?

We have previously speculated that Kepler was attempting to be strategic by compromising his Christian faith with the prevailing scientific narrative. There is another possibility.

Star Wars

In 1977 when Luke Skywalker first blew up the Death Star we were all either too young or too impressed with the movie to really wonder why would anyone build a moon-sized space station which could be destroyed by two well placed photon torpedoes? As time passed however, a lot of folk began to wonder about what would seem to be a flimsy plot device. It turns out that there is much more involved.

Star Wars Rogue One tells the story of Galen Urso a grieving father who, in the bitterness of his soul, wreaks revenge on the empire by building its flagship planet-killer space station to have a weakness. He tells us, in his emotional holographic message to his daughter, that one blast anywhere in the reactor system will set off a chain reaction and destroy the entire station. This then becomes the mission: get the information into Rebel hands so that they can mount an attack to destroy the battle station.

What’s the comparison here? The Death Star represents the unopposed power of the Empire to subdue the universe and have dominion over every sentient race. Is mainstream science (SciPop) doing the same thing? SciPop is a rationalization of godless existence: it’s designed to make you think that there’s no God, no judgment, no hell, so that you can live an immoral life and not worry about the consequences. Children are indoctrinated in it from the first moment that they look at a screen of any kind, and that’s getting younger and younger.

It could indeed be said that SciPop has the ability to destroy an entire planet, though not through some accidental chain reaction, through the loss from eternity of an entire planet of souls who are on the broad wide road to eternal destruction. If this is the case, and Kepler saw it coming, could that be why he left a vulnerability in his Laws so obvious that no one can see it? This is a vulnerability so small, yet so profound, that people have been looking at it but not seeing it for over 400 years.

The reactor module is the weakness by which the Death Star is destroyed, Kepler’s laws are the weakness by which SciPop is destroyed.

Enmity with God?

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(James 4:4) KJV

Is this dominion? In a way it is. We’re enslaved by sin and, as a result, we’re at enmity with God. If we have been conditioned to believe that this is the normal state of being and that there’s nothing else, then we are truly enslaved by it.

Seeing but not Perceiving

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

(Isaiah 6:9) KJV

It’s possible that no one saw the weakness in Kepler’s laws because God, in his wisdom. caused them not to. If this is the case, then it may be God’s will that this truth is now to be revealed because his agenda is advancing. Kepler may or may not have known what he was doing, but we must allow for the possibility that Kepler was a critical part of the working out of God’s plan, and he may have acted selflessly.

It’s also possible that the people of Kepler’s time were well aware of this deficiency but they simply chose to overlook it, because that was what they wanted: the antidote to God. The weakness has been allowed to persist because people simply aren’t taught anything anymore. No one learns how SciPop grew from an inkling. Everyone is simply shown the SciPop narrative and told that anything else is stupid.

If Johannes Kepler is the type for Galen Urso, a picture of the sacrificial lamb who gave his life to save us, then Matty’s Paradigm is Luke Skywalker in a X-Wing Fighter… but let’s not get carried away.
