The Fall

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

(Genesis 3:1-7) KJV

The fall of man was an effect. The cause was disobedience. We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) develop a coherent narrative and harmonize scripture with science because we understand the relationship of cause and effect.

Genesis 3:1-7 is part of the description we’re given of the event known as “the fall of man.” However, this isn’t the fall of creation. The universe was created in a fallen state, the fall of man was the moment that this became apparent to Adam and Eve.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Matty’s Razor

There are many aspects of this account which we need to pick our way through. The first one is the serpent. We previously discussed the possibility that the serpent referred to in this encounter is a bipedal humanoid. The question we may ponder is: if there was a race of intelligent bipedal humanoid reptiles for Adam and Eve to talk to, what other forms of intelligent life may there have been? What other animals were likewise endowed with the ability to speak?

Another question we can pick away at is: why did the serpent beguile Eve? What could have caused this to happen? We’re going to pick our way though the fall of man, an effect, by having the correct understanding of cause and effect.

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

– Faith, definition

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(2 Timothy 2:15) KJV

Ever since Copernicus mainstream science (SciPop) has framed the narrative of human origins. Why Copernicus and not Darwin? A coherent narrative for godless existence has to start with heliocentricity, sun worship or Solianity, not evolution.

Heliocentricity sets the stage for evolutionary origin of humanity, which is supposedly the antidote to creation. There’s no point having a theory of evolution if people believe that the sun orbits the Earth. Why? The only reason why the sun would orbit the Earth is if God created it that way, there’s no other explanation. By contrast, if the Earth orbits the sun, which is drifting through the inky void of space, then God becomes an optional extra in a narrative which he didn’t cause. Separate the cosmos from God and then the evolutionary origin of humanity starts to sound plausible.

Heliocentric (sun worship) or Geocentrospheric?

  • IF you were on the Sun you’d be observing heliocentricity,
  • SINCE you’re not, you’re on the Earth, you’re observing Geocentrosphericity.

The reason for creation is the manifestation of sentient life with free will.

– The Reason for Creation

The SciPop narrative has billions of years of time before humanity stands upright, uses a tool, discovers fire and then writes poems to impress girls. Fast forward to modern times and we have an antiquated work of historic literature called the Bible with what looks like a confusing jumble of mythology.

Many people have tried to make sense out of the Bible by using inductive reasoning but it’s hindered by the fact that it describes the origin of the universe in a way which doesn’t fit the SciPop narrative. This is by design, not accident, and it’s all thanks to peer review. As a result, no one can find where the mythological jumble begins or ends. In our time the mythology has been interwoven with relativity so that there’s no absolute frame of reference, either of space or time. All of the many scientific concepts we’ve mastered are massaged to fit THE NARRATIVE. There’s no time frame which makes sense, so time is considered to be irrelevant. Prophecy about the future is considered to be the past, the past is considered to be poetic speculation about the meaning of life. This is a problem, because any attempt to relate cause and effect doesn’t work. No one knows what’s a cause and what’s an effect.

By contrast we’re using deductive reasoning, and we have an absolute frame of reference, both in space and time. Unfortunately we find that a lot of things that Christians have believed about the Bible for generations don’t make any sense at all, so we refute them. However, it’s nothing personal, and the gospel is still the gospel.

Salvation

  1. Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
    • believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
  2. confess your sin.
