In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.(Genesis 1:1-2) ESV
The deep existed in the beginning, before God began to create. This means that creation isn’t ex nihilo, from nothing, it’s ex abyssi, from the deep. This is so obvious that everyone has missed it completely.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.(John 1:1-5, 14) KJV
We tested the hypothesis that the deep, the Word of God and Jesus Christ are all identities of God the Son by comparing the scriptural context of each identity against the narrative in John 1:1-5, 14. It’s hypothesis 18. We’ve found that the description of each one is congruent with context of the passage.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
- IF the deep, the Word of God, and Jesus Christ are identities of God the Son,
- AND they all refer to the same Divine aspect of the Trinity,
- THEN the scriptural context of all 3 will be consistent.
The deep existed before God said let light be. This means that the Biblical account of creation includes a source of Hydrogen for nucleosynthesis, something that the Big Bang theory doesn’t have. Big Bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) is over hyped speculation and since it’s not a testable hypothesis it’s not scientific. It’s pseudoscience. Let light be nucleosynthesis (LLBN) isn’t even the beginning of the Biblical account, we can go back before it and deduce the origin of the deep.
