Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
(John 6:53-58) NKJV
Jesus is undeterred, at this point all the hard work is done. What needed to be said has been said. He summarizes again. Jesus is speaking plainly about the transformation of energy, not cannibalism.
- IF eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking his blood, E, gives eternal life, q,
- AND believing in Jesus Christ the Word of God, B, gives eternal life, q,
- THEN eating and drinking (E) and believing (B) are the same thing.
This means that:
- IF words are spirit (vibrations/energy), v
- AND hearing the Word of God preached, vB, is how we come to faith, q.
- THEN hearing preaching and believing the Word of God ,vB, is eating and drinking Jesus’ body and blood, vE.
Put another way:
- IF vB = q
- AND vE = q
- THEN B = E, which is what we started with.
The spirit is how the invisible world interacts with the visible. This occurs in the blood. The blood flows throughout the body pumped by the heart to the brain. The heart and the brain contain the aspects of the soul which we refer to as heart and mind.
From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
(John 6:66) NKJV
Jesus wasn’t able to express this in a way that the people of his day could understand. He did it anyway. The truth of these passages is spiritually discerned and has been known to believers for the last two millennia. We’re putting the gospel in terms and symbols and relating it to physical concepts because we believe that it’s a step of faith which is leading us somewhere. We don’t know where. We don’t need to. That’s what faith is.

June 23 – Jesus’ Law of Thermodynamics
Part 2
Preaching the Word of God is a form of energy which has the potential to transform a soul from being dead to being alive (quickened).
