Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
(John 6:47-51) KJV
Jesus describes the chain of causality in the transition of energy from one form to another. If we believe (B) in Jesus Christ (q) we’ll be given everlasting life because we are, energetically, eating the bread of life (Fq) which is believing in Jesus.
The way that this works is that we hear (h) preaching (W), the energy of the vibration (hW) is of a specific nature to cause a believing soul to be quickened (q) or made alive.
Bread is energy, whether it be actual bread made from flour or the Word of God being preached. Either way, the energy is taken by the body to do work. The bread we eat nourishes our body, and the bread we hear nourishes our soul. The spirit transforms the energy of the words into a form that can act on our soul, it’s the interface between the visible and invisible world.
The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
(John 6:52) NKJV
Jesus redoubles his efforts, and summarizes his statements so far. Jesus’ audience doesn’t understand physics.
