Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!(Isaiah 5:20) NKJV
According to the rules of the scientific method the truth isn’t scientific, therefore it has to be rejected. That’s what we call Popper’s Paradox.
Karl Popper (28 July 1902 – 17 September 1994) was an atheist who constructed the philosophical foundation of the scientific method in such a way that the divine and supernatural could be dismissed out of hand.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
The idea was to make it so that no one could say something like “thus saith the Lord” and expect to have anyone take them seriously. It worked. Popper’s philosophy is at the heart of the development of the scientific method as taught today. It was intended to put an end to Victorian era elitist blowhards like Charles Darwin, and it ushered in a modern era of elitist blowhards like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins.
Basically, anyone can have an idea. If this idea lies outside the realm of an established theory it can be labelled as a hypothesis. If the hypothesis is predictive and testable it can be labelled as a “scientific hypothesis.”
Here’s the problem: What about truth? If the truth is that God created the heavens and the Earth, how do we design an experiment that can test this? Maybe we can’t, in which case the truth is unscientific and must be dismissed as a possible conclusion. That’s how absurd the scientific method is.
The Scientific Method
- The Truth:
- God is a Spirit.
- The Scientific Method:
- The Truth is neither testable nor falsifiable,
- therefore it’s unscientific and must be rejected.
- According to the rules of the scientific method:
- popular science (SciPop) and the truth are mutually exclusive.
This is how “scientists” can dismiss the truth with a joke about what kind of uneducated idiot believes a 2,000 year old book that was written by Bronze Age goat herders who didn’t know where the sun went at night?
According to the rules of the scientific method, the truth isn’t scientific.– Popper’s Paradox
In a remarkable twist of irony, most articles in the popular science (SciPop) press which relate to new discoveries from the remote regions of the cosmos aren’t testable hypotheses. That’s where peer review comes in and arbitrarily overrides the scientific method as needed, to allow anything they want to be woven in to the SciPop narrative of godless existence. It’s a farce.
What’s even more hilarious is that the scientific method can be used to demonstrate that the scientific method is a farce.
