Extraterrestrial Propaganda

The words of Amos, who was among the sheepbreeders of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Popular science (SciPop) is in love with the idea that an extraterrestrial impact caused a mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous (Mesozoic) which wiped out the dinosaurs.

There’s physical evidence for very large meteorite impacts so it’s important to understand how this fits the Biblical narrative.

A team consisting of the physicist Luis Alvarez, his son, geologist Walter Alvarez, and chemists Frank Asaro and Helen Vaughn Michel were the first to link the extinction to an extraterrestrial impact event based on the observation that iridium is much more abundant in meteorites than it is on Earth. This theory was later substantiated by other evidence, including the eventual discovery of the impact crater, known as Chicxulub, on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.

The thing is, the existence of a crater site is circumstantial evidence. The SciPop narrative of an extraterrestrial impact at the Cretaceous/Tertiary boundary is an inductive rationalization of circumstantial evidence to fit the premise of an extraterrestrial impact at the K/T boundary. It’s circular reasoning.

Since the dinosaurs were wiped out in Noah’s flood then we’re not bound to this narrative and we can find another way to account for an impact which caused a world-wide catastrophe, something referred to by Velikovsky and others as an Earth-shock. In so doing we can fix a couple of mistakes in the half-baked capitulation with SciPop which is known as Creationism.

Creationism Fail 1

SciPop has a model of the Earth’s internal structure which doesn’t have hell at the center and everyone thinks that there’s no alternative to it. Creationists will aggressively defend this model which has been designed by atheist intellectual elites to make it look as if the Bible is impossible. Go figure.

Creationism is going through a period of turmoil as different sects, remodelers vs. reconstructors, debate over the cause of tectonic plate formation. The thing that they’re whining about is how to account for the energy needed to cause a super-continent to break apart, because they don’t want to have to call it a miracle.

One group believes that the force exerted on the Earth’s crust by the flood waters caused the crust and mantle to fragment. The other group rejects this idea and proposes an extraterrestrial impact, with the tagline that this is the only thing which could cause the shear forces necessary to cause tectonic plate formation. The problem with Creationism is that they’re working out of the playbook handed to them by the atheist intellectual elites who developed the current model of the Earth’s internal structure (SciPop).

In Matty’s Paradigm we have a model of the internal structure of the Earth which has hell at the center. This is physically possible because we have developed the Biblical theory of gravitation which cuts the assumed link between space-time and gravity. Hell has been expanding since the fall of man in Genesis 3, and the expansion of hell is a direct causal factor in Noah’s flood and the tectonic breakup of Pangaea. That’s where the energy came from to break up Pangaea: the pillars of the Earth collapsed. Creationists don’t believe in the pillars of the Earth and they’ll probably treat you like an idiot if you do. Just saying.

However, this means that there are no constraints from the physical evidence which forces us to induce a narrative incorporating an extraterrestrial impact into geological history. We can let the Word of God teach us when this event took place. In this case we can use the circumstances which prompted Amos to begin his ministry.

Amos saw the meteorite coming and went to warn the people. Uzziah, king in Jerusalem at the time, ran into the temple to burn incense in an attempt to ward off the impending disaster. He wasn’t sanctified to do this and spent the rest of his life as a leper. The book of Isaiah opens up with the young prophet looking out over the destruction which was caused by the impact. The impact site could be any of the likely candidates, Mexico or East Africa, because the shock was sufficient to cause earthquakes all around the world.

Creationism Fail 2

The reason why Iridium is thought to be of extraterrestrial origin is because of its relative rarity on Earth compared to in meteorites. If meteorites are fragments of crystalline firmament material (CFM) then it’s evidence that the firmament contains Iridium.

This brings up another problem for Creationism because they don’t have a crystalline firmament. They’re interpreting the Word of God from within the SciPop cosmological model, but the purpose of the SciPop cosmological model is to make the Bible look impossible, so it’s a mystery as to why Creationists are so protective of it.

Is the iridium anomaly evidence of an extraterrestrial impact? It doesn’t have to be, and we can allow the Biblical narrative to account for it.
