Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

  • A desire, exceedingly, greedily, lusting, pleasant
    1. desire – absolute; desire, wish; of physical appetite, longing for dainty food;
      • distinctly good sense; Psalm 10:17; Psalm 38:10; Proverbs 11:23; Proverbs 19:22 Isaiah 26:8
      • bad sense, lust, appetite, covetousness Psalms 10:3; Psalms 112:10; Proverbs 21:25-26; ; particularly of longing for dainties of Egypt.
    2. thing desired,
      • in good sense Proverbs 10:24
      • bad sense Psalms 78:29; Psalms 21:3
