When he prepared the heavens, I was there:
(Proverbs 8:27) King James Version
when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
(Proverbs 8:27) English Standard Version
When he prepared the heavens, I was present: when with a certain law and compass he enclosed the depths:
(Proverbs 8:27) Douay-Rheims Bible
The compass point on the face of the depth is the location of a gravitational singularity. It’s refered to as the foundation(s) of the earth. The circle that the compass metaphorically draws is the location of the firmament (heaven).
The establishment of these two structures are causally linked. God stretched out the heavens and established the foundations of the Earth simultaneously. These two operations occur together frequently in scripture.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
(Psalms 102:25) KJV
The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
(Proverbs 3:19) KJV
Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
(Isaiah 48:13) KJV
This is even more specific, where Isaiah tells us that the establishment of the foundations of the earth and spanning of the heavens was the same command. This can be accomplished if the command is to create gravity.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
(Isaiah 51:16) KJV
The heavens are planted. What can be planted if the heavens are empty space?
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
(Zechariah 12:1) KJV
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
(Hebrews 1:10) KJV
